Contract .NET Developer – Insurance Sector

Location: Central London (3 days onsite – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Duration: 3 Months

Rate: ~£350 per day

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Pattern: 4 days per week

Overview

An established insurance organisation is looking for a .NET Developer to support delivery of a few existing projects. You’ll be joining a small delivery team to enhance and build functionality across internal business systems and customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET technologies
• Build UI components using Blazor
• Work with Entity Framework for data access and ORM mapping
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database structures
• Collaborate with stakeholders and existing developers to deliver features within agreed timelines
• Support testing, debugging and deployment of solutions

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with .NET / C# development
• Hands-on experience with Blazor
• Experience using Entity Framework
• Solid SQL and database development skills
• Ability to work onsite in Central London 3 days per week (Tue–Thu)
• Experience working within structured delivery environments (insurance/financial services beneficial but not essential)
