Tresta is a start-up specialist lender in the Buy-to-let mortgage market located in Woking, Surrey. Tresta is looking for a Junior Product Manager to support ambitious plans. This is a high impact role which will support Trestas rapid growth. You will also experience personal skill and knowledge development by working directly with experienced colleagues in technology, sales, and operations.

The office is less than a five-minute walk away from Woking town centre and train station. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director the role is primarily focused on helping build a start-up Buy-to-let business by focusing on internal micro and external macro analysis plus ensuring. Tresta products and processes are defined and configured to meet ambitious growth plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of design and implementation of enhancements through configuration of systems to meet business needs.
  • Support incident management, root cause analysis and continuous improvements efforts when issues arise.
  • Develop and implement approach to optimise the product proposition and performance, leveraging product mix, pricing and margin analysis while maintaining credit quality.
  • Help develop internal processes as the product and company scale by combining market research, competitor analysis, data analytics, statistical models and strategic thinking.
  • Work closely with third party systems to enhance visibility of Tresta products and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Help drive efficiencies through the introduction of AI. Helping to build capabilities while understanding limitations.
  • Support leadership building scalable business with knowledge through attending a range internal and external stakeholder meetings, including funders, lawyers, partners and technology companies.
  • Contribute to strategic priorities and translation of the strategy into executable plans to deliver good customer and operations outcomes.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in STEM or Finance/Economics/Accounting.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a technical, product, data/business analyst, or related role.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical constraints.
  • Comfortable with data and can use it to draw conclusions and inform decisions.
  • Ownership mentality and ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Stakeholder credibility: Ability to shape decisions and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership potential: Track record of working with high performing teams, building accountability and role modelling inclusive leadership behaviours.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

  • Master Degree
  • Associate Technical Product Manager/Owner, Financial Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle, APIs and AI.
