Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Machine Learning Developer to work for siemens Energy, a leader in global energy technology.

We are seeking a specialist Machine Learning Developer to support the scaling of our production ML solutions. This is not a research role; we need a "hands-on" engineer who can build, deploy, and operationalize models that drive immediate business value.

You will work directly alongside our Machine Learning Experts to bridge the gap between experimental code and robust, production-grade systems.

You will participate in pair-programming, debug production issues, and translate complex business needs into ML-ready requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Development: Build and own ML solutions from data ingestion through to modelling, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Production & MLOps: Operationalize models using Docker and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for writing modular, production-ready Python code.
  • Data & Feature Engineering: Handle complex, "messy" real-world data by extracting and validating datasets (including Snowflake) for reproducible pipelines.
  • Model Quality: Apply rigorous validation (cross-validation, data leakage prevention) and monitor live models for performance drift.
  • Innovation: Work with emerging AI approaches, including LLMs/SLMs and prompt-based workflows.

Required Skills & Experience: (Must-Haves)

  • 5+ Years Experience: Demonstrated success designing and implementing end-to-end ML solutions in a production environment.
  • Core Technicals: Expertise in Python, ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.), and Git.
  • Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and MLOps practices (Docker, monitoring, automated retraining).
  • Analytical Rigor: Deep understanding of model evaluation, bias/variance trade-offs, and data leakage.
  • Enterprise Data: Experience handling data from enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, or PLM) is highly desirable.
  • Academic: An Engineering degree is ideal.

We look forward to receiving your application.
