Job Description

• Initial Configuration and install various Cisco network devices (e.g., routers, switches).
• Require Hands on Experience on hardware replacement and configuration in cisco switches and routers.
• WAN: Good Knowledge and experience in OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.
• Switching: Good Knowledge and experience in VLAN, ACL, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP and Ether channel
• Exposure to Monitoring Tools like SolarWinds
• Require Knowledge in Sub netting, DHCP, Telnet, Routing Protocols
• Level 2 support for Switches, Routers, Firewall, WLC, AP�s And Load Balancer
• Responsibility includes troubleshooting all network related problems and support for LAN/WAN Setup.
• Perform network maintenance including h/w and s/w upgrades, decommissions, and capacity upgrades.
• Work with Vendors and technical support for ISP related issues"
• Experienced in wireless technologies (CISCO and ARUBA)
• Require hands on experience on Routers/Switches (Cisco, 7200, 3800, 2600 Series routers & catalyst switches 3750, 4503, 6500, 9200, 9300)
• Require hands on implementation and troubleshooting on wireless controller and access points of Aruba and Cisco.
• Administration of DHCP scope for Guestnet.
• Hands experience on Firewall (CISCO ASA and Firewalls Fortinet, Forti-manager, Forti-analyzer)
• Troubleshooting on Critical Parameters for the Network devices like � Uptime, CPU Utilization, Packet Drops, Hardware Failures, Interface Status
• Firmware upgrade for switch, access point and Firewalls
• Troubleshooting on Layer 2 failures
• Coordinate with On-site co-ordination & Field Support Field Engineers and other vendors
• Configuring and Managing Routers, Switches, WLC & firewall security policies
• Configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls (FortiGate 1240B, 1000C, 620B, 600D, 310B) related issues like port opening, port forwarding etc.
• Backup and restoring the configuration of N/W equipment's like Firewall, routers and switches
• Handled responsibilities of providing 24x7 network operations in production environment
• Perform the tasks of monitoring network performance by using standard management tools.
• Hands-on experience in resolving Link down, flap, slow speed, IP blacklist, packet drops, and latency issue in leased lined network without breaching SLA
• Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common and escalated network problems or suspected network problems
• Strong understanding of STP and L2 related security features Working knowledge on multiple L2 switches platform Cisco, HP, Aruba switches will be preferred
• Having working knowledge on one ticketing tool (Service Now) and is awareness onsite concepts is expected
• Handing and troubleshooting on F5 load balancer (Global Traffic Management (GTM)t & Local Traffic Management (LTM)
• Willing to work in 24/7
• Use SOPs and KEDB to address incidents, service requests and queries. Initial triage will be included in the SOPs.
• Analyze and provide workaround solution for the incidents/tickets, coordinate with 3rd party vendors if required. Escalate to Level 3 for further resolution & RCA
• Produce & refine SOPs & Run books for level 1 team
• Incident/change/problem management related to network infrastructure
