Junior Game Tester

We are hiring a committed Junior Game Tester to ensure cosmetic content in an AAA gaming platform meets quality standards. Your tasks will include asset verification before launch, close coordination with producers, and oversight of a steady stream of game items. Responsibilities

• Verify in-game cosmetic content by executing predefined cases and applying exploratory methods across release cycles
• Prepare console and mobile platforms for evaluation in accordance with specific instructions
• Develop proficiency in the necessary software and testing tools for everyday assignments
• Report and manage issues via the JIRA tracking application
• Keep all hardware drivers, SDKs, and firmware in sync with project requirements

Requirements

• Gaming hobbyist with broad hands-on experience across platforms, genres, and recent games
• Availability to work in-person starting between 9:00 and 9:30 AM (UTC -04)
• Understanding of Windows/PC environments, with skills to alter game and OS settings
• Trustworthy individual who shows initiative in QA duties
• Able to maintain privacy of all client-related information
• Collaborative approach to working in a group
• Fast learner adaptable to new tools and evolving processes
• English language level B1 (Intermediate) or above

Nice to have

• History of game testing or functional QA work
• Participation in closed beta or crowd QA programs such as Battlefield Labs or Halo Insider
• Familiarity with fundamentals, practices, and tools of functional QA
• Bug submission experience in JIRA or similar systems
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine environment
• Testing practices on Android and iOS mobile devices
