Junior Game Tester

We are looking for a driven Junior Game Tester to help ensure the quality of an AAA game platform. You will inspect in-game cosmetic items before release, work closely with the production team, and handle a steady flow of content updates. Responsibilities

• Assess cosmetic game items through predefined test cases as well as exploratory checks across multiple release stages
• Prepare consoles and mobile devices for testing by accurately following setup procedures
• Acquire expertise with required tools to execute daily QA activities
• Record, track, and update bugs or issues using the JIRA issue tracking platform
• Maintain project hardware and software components, including drivers, SDKs, and firmware, in compliance with standards

Requirements

• Keen gaming enthusiast with exposure to various genres, platforms, and modern titles
• Ability to be on-site with a workday starting between 9:00 and 9:30 AM (UTC -04)
• Good knowledge of PC/Windows systems and capability to adjust game or system settings when needed
• Reliable and proactive approach to assigned work
• Commitment to properly handle sensitive client data
• Capability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
• Willingness to quickly learn new software tools and adapt to workflow changes
• English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher

Nice to have

• Previous involvement in game or functional testing
• Participation in Closed Beta or crowd testing programs like Battlefield Labs or Halo Insider
• Understanding of functional test approaches, techniques, and toolsets
• Bug reporting experience with JIRA or similar systems
• Basic familiarity with Unreal Engine
• Practice testing on Android or iOS devices
