About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our modular software components within a Java-based 3-tier architecture. You will work within an agile development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support our core functionalities such as billing, financial accounting, and administrative management. Your responsibilities will include database management, software testing, ensuring data security, and comprehensive documentation of your work. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, influence software architecture, and bring your ideas to life in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java SE programming and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as Firebird, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (B2 level) for effective teamwork.
• Ideally, familiarity with Jasper Reports, Spring Boot/Spring Data JPA, JUnit, Active MQ, and Swagger/Open API.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit.
• Previous experience in software development within an agile environment is preferred.

• Design, develop, and maintain modular software components within a Java-based 3-tier architecture.
• Collaborate with team members to extend and integrate our software, focusing on billing, financial management, and administrative modules.
• Participate in continuous deployment processes, ensuring smooth operation and deployment of your work packages.
• Contribute to the design of software architecture and assist in selecting appropriate technologies for various projects.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing with JUnit, to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Ensure data security, perform database management, and maintain detailed documentation of development activities.
• Bring innovative ideas to the table and take initiative to drive projects forward, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
