Security Analyst (HedgeFund): £80,000 + Bonus/benefits/Hybrid

My client is a top ranked, technology-driven trading firm run by Computer Scientists and Olympiad winning mathematicians from some of the top global tech and financial firms. They are widely considered as using some of the best tech out there and constantly push it to the limits.
They are searching for a passionate, and talented Security Analyst to join their firm in a top priority position/team. You must be keen to take on new technologies as you will be involved in an array of work covering the firms cyber security strategy!
Role:
· Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures.
. Responsible for daily operation of enterprise security systems including SIEM, IDS, Firewall etc
. Participate in incident response
. Collaborate with Security teams to deploy newly developed security tools
. Implement procedures to automate repetitive tasks
. Provide a strong level consultancy when it comes to engineering security solutions.
· Provide input for architecture plans with consideration of current standards.
· Monitor new and emerging technologies that could be adopted
· Take on incident response duties
· Liaison with key stakeholders
· Ensure smooth handover from engineering to production.
Requirements:
. Working knowledge over Linux and Windows systems
. Experience with vulnerability management scanning platforms.
. Strong understanding and experience working with data security solutions
. Ability to script/automate using PowerShell or python
. Experience in OSINT, Threat hunting and analysing malicious emails
. Demonstrate Understanding of DLP, IPS, Endpoint, anti-malware, Sandbox, Vulnerability scanners
· Good communication skills
