Adobe AEM Frontend Developer

We are looking for an Adobe AEM Frontend Developer to design, develop and maintain AEM components and templates, while integrating frontend technologies such as HTML and JavaScript for a seamless user experience. The team manages a wide range of digital marketing and communication platforms, such as the public website, microsites, analytics, global e-mail marketing solutions, marketing automation, high performance web caching, mobile applications, the corporate intranet and employee engagement systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AEM components, templates
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to integrate frontend code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React/Angular) into AEM for a responsive user experience
• Integrate AEM with other core systems and Adobe Experience Cloud products (like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign) using APIs (e.g., RESTful)
• Participate in the deployment process, conduct unit and system testing and troubleshoot/debug issues in AEM environments
• Ensure code quality, security and performance by adhering to AEM and general software development best practices (e.g., in an Agile environment)

Requirements

• Experience in the development of applications using Vue.js, SASS, JavaScript ES6/ES7, HTML, CSS and other frontend libraries
• Practical experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• Experience in designing websites following accessibility standards
• Basic knowledge of Node.js
• Experience in UX design using tools such as Figma
• Expertise in Object Oriented Programming concepts to develop UI components that could be reused across the Web Application
• Experience (Preferred) developing applications in any cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools
• Experience in working with complex applications with multiple stakeholders will be a plus
• Capable technical author and presenter, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and stakeholder presentations
• BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Marketing technology
