We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a critical role in analysing complex datasets, building predictive models, and driving data-driven decisions across the organisation. Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a critical role in analysing complex datasets, building predictive models, and driving data-driven decisions across the organisation. This position also offers the opportunity to explore and apply generative AI techniques to drive creativity and efficiency in our workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights.
- Explore and implement generative AI models for tasks such as synthetic data generation and process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and recommend data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
- Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and maintain model performance in production.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with generative AI models and techniques, or a keen interest in learning and applying them.
- Knowledge of database technologies and query languages (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical insights into business outcomes.
- Experience working with big data technologies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI applications.
- Degree in data science or related fields.
