Junior Software Engineer (Node/React)

Job Description:

You will join a cross-functional engineering team dedicated to improving the clinical trial experience for patients and professionals. By contributing to modern Node.js backend services and React frontend applications, you will help build tools that accelerate the delivery of life-saving medicines while receiving mentorship from experienced senior engineers in a collaborative environment.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js across patient and professional web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to move features from initial ideation through to production releases.
• Take ownership of well-scoped tasks while refactoring existing code to ensure high performance and maintainable test coverage.

The ideal candidate:

• 1–2 years of commercial software experience or equivalent through significant projects, with a strong foundation in TypeScript.
• Proficiency in building React applications and Node.js APIs, ideally with exposure to PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
• A proactive learner who writes clean, well-tested code and is comfortable using AI tools to optimize delivery.
