Contract length: 6 months (W2/EOR) - opportunity to extend

Interview process: 2-3 interview rounds

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM Only.

Candidates must be able to overlap at least 4 hours with Pacific Time (PST).

Please note: The hourly rate may vary depending on the candidate’s country of residence due to Employer of Record (EOR) fees. These fees, which cover essential services such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with local employment laws, are country-specific and can impact the final rate offered.

Requirements:

  • A Mobile iOS Developer will develop and maintain applications for end user groups and customers, with a specialty in media application.
  • Analyze performance of applications, and troubleshoot problems
  • Involved in the coding, testing and documentation of the proposed solution
  • Responsible for the creation, modification, and testing of code
  • Involved in the review of code from junior level and offshore programmers
  • Involved in ongoing systems monitoring and general support of assigned applications
  • Involved in analyzing system/software performance
  • Responsible for analyzing and identifying system performance issues, recoding bugs, testing fixes and implementing the solution identified
  • Analyze software solutions based on customer requirements and suggest the best solution
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy and build novel products and features that our users will love.
  • Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
  • Participate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help mentor junior engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise.

Who You Might Be:

  • A Mobile developer who has worked with teams that built applications with millions of users.
  • Experienced with scaling applications, driving complex initiatives across multiple teams and xfn stakeholders.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and to deliver projects on schedule
  • Excellent communication skills. You partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure.
  • Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Rust)
  • Knowledge about GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus
