About the Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle - from strategy and specification through to shipped, revenue-generating software. You will be the single point of ownership for what gets built, in what order, and to what quality bar. This means defining the roadmap, writing the specs, working with engineering to ship, and reporting progress to the executive team.

The right person has shipped institutional financial software in a regulated environment. They know what a bank treasury desk needs from a crypto counterparty, and they know how to turn that into a product spec that an engineer can build without ambiguity. They are equally comfortable presenting a roadmap to the board and reviewing acceptance criteria in a ticket.

Key responsibilities

• Own SCRYPT's product roadmap across all initiatives: trading and execution, custody and self-custody, stablecoin settlement, fiat deposit automation, and asset management
• Translate commercial goals and client demand into a prioritized, sequenced delivery plan with explicit milestones and dependencies
• Maintain the roadmap as a living artifact. Communicate changes proactively and ensure executive alignment on priorities and trade-offs
• Own the product P&L. Ensure product decisions are commercially grounded and aligned to revenue targets
• Ensure every feature entering development has clearly defined acceptance criteria, data specifications, interaction behaviors, error states, and edge cases
• Work directly with engineering leads to ensure work items are implementation-ready before they enter a sprint cycle
• Establish and enforce shared product standards: design system rules, formatting conventions, component behaviors, and validation requirements
• Own the definition of "done" for every milestone - milestones have measurable deliverables, not just target dates
• Monitor sprint scope and enforce work-in-progress discipline. Mid-cycle scope additions require explicit trade-offs
• Run a product review cadence: weekly status against milestones, early warning on risks, and clear escalation when delivery commitments are at risk
• Define and evolve SCRYPT's institutional product positioning across trading, custody, settlement, and payment; identify strategic technology integrations, distribution partnerships, and co-build opportunities
• Identify market gaps and regulatory shifts (MiCA, stablecoin regulation, institutional DeFi access) and ensure the roadmap reflects them
• Serve as the senior product voice in institutional client conversations and feed operational requirements back into the roadmap
• Ensure legal, compliance, and regulatory scoping is completed before engineering begins work on regulated products
• Own the product-side input to regulatory frameworks across Swiss VQF, MiCA, and other applicable jurisdictions; support the CEO on long-term business strategy and European market expansion

Job requirements

• 5+ years in a product leadership role at an institutional financial technology company - ideally a crypto infrastructure firm, trading platform, or custody provider
• Demonstrated track record of shipping institutional-grade software products in a regulated environment (Swiss regulation, MiCA, FCA, or equivalent)
• Experience writing detailed product specifications and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can build from without ambiguity
• Experience managing concurrent software projects using modern project management tools (e.g. Linear, Jira); comfortable in a backlog, not just a boardroom
• Strong understanding of institutional trading infrastructure - OTC execution, custody workflows, settlement operations, and how these translate to digital asset markets
• Hands-on experience with compliance requirements for trading and custody operations: KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting
• Track record of improving delivery predictability - reducing cycle time, controlling scope creep, and establishing product processes in a fast-moving engineering organization
• Ability to operate at both strategic and execution level; comfortable presenting to investors and equally comfortable reviewing a Figma annotation or a pull request description
• Fluent in English. Additional languages (German, French, Italian) are an advantage
• Experience with stablecoin payments, cross-border settlement, or payment service provider infrastructure (optional)
• Experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial forecasting for a product division (optional)
• Experience with API-first product design, white-label platforms, or embedded finance; familiarity with Fireblocks, Talos, or similar institutional crypto infrastructure (optional)
• Strong financial institutions network across banking, brokerage, and asset management (optional)
