With record-breaking growth year-over-year, the EMEA HQ Service Business planning team is looking to expand to ensure great customer satisfaction and retention while securing Tesla is future-proof to meet the next growth phase. With millions of cars on the road, our goal in Service is to ensure we minimize cost of ownership and maximize satisfaction during the lifetime of our vehicles.

We are a team of highly analytical and strategic thinkers, sitting at the crossroad of multiple stakeholders ranging from senior EMEA leadership to field level operations and supporting multiple verticals within the service organization on both short-term tactical analysis and long terms strategy definition. Our core scope splits between demand forecast, planning of headcount, real estate and internal service fleet resources, market & competition analysis, along with general analytical support on various new verticals and business cases.

This role is an opportunity for a single contributor emerging leader to leverage and gain skills in quantitative analysis, project management, strategic thinking and communication. You would be evolving in an intense and energizing environment and closely interacting with EMEA Business analytics team, finance team and countries leadership to ensure existing and newer projects get designed, planned, communicated and executed on.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a broad and deep understanding of the local service dynamics across EMEA markets, both from an analytical and on-the-ground perspective
  • Support and advise senior leaders at Tesla on a wide variety of challenges, acting as a trusted, quantitative, concise, and reliable partner for them
  • Support maintenance and improvements of demand, headcount, and real estate planning forecast in collaboration with HQ and country leadership, business analytics, and finance. Ultimately aim for Accuracy, Adoption and Automation of your analysis
  • Develop a robust “Planned vs Actuals” feedback loop and thorough forecast gap analysis to constantly iterate and improve reliability of projections
  • Lead pioneering analysis when a new project or business line develops, and some quantitative and strategic support is needed - including but not limited to Customer Support Lines, Pay Incentives, New Market Launches, financials & operational forecasts, etc.
  • Develop expert teamwork skills and build excellent cross-functional stakeholder relationship to ensure engagement, trust, and speed of delivery
  • Communicate & educate regularly, concisely, and passionately, to ensure common understanding and alignment of planning related topic


  • What You'll Bring

  • MSc's degree in Engineering, Computer and/or Data Science, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business/Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Proven experience in data processing methods (e.g. building ETLs). Excel mastery while exposure to tools like Tableau, PBI, SQL, python or R are a strong plus
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, in particular the ability to explain complex analytical concepts in a comprehensive way to C-level and non-experts in other areas.
  • High level of data quality and integrity and a proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics
  • A first principle thinking enthusiast who always keeps the bigger picture in mind, bringing a hybrid strategic and analytical mentality, can-do attitude, positive, pragmatic, action driven mindset
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
