Security Consulting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

On behalf of a leading global consulting organization we are seeking a senior Security Consulting Manager to lead and advise on complex security initiatives across clients in critical infrastructure and industrial sectors. You will combine technical expertise, business insight, and strategic thinking to help organizations strengthen their cyber resilience, manage risks, and protect digital assets.

You will work across multiple security domains, including security for emerging technologies (e.g., AI), Operational Technology (OT) security, vulnerability management, detection & response, cyber strategy, and Identity & Access Management (IAM), while leveraging your commercial acumen to develop client relationships and grow business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee security programs, ensuring alignment between security initiatives, client objectives, and business strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor and bridge between clients, project teams, and cybersecurity experts to deliver tailored solutions.
• Guide clients in defining, implementing, and optimizing security processes, policies, and technologies.
• Identify opportunities for new security initiatives and contribute to business development efforts.
• Support innovation by applying emerging security tools, AI-driven risk analysis, and advanced defense strategies.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
• Provide data-driven insights to monitor project performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in consultancy or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to integrate security into broader organizational strategies.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex security projects and teams.
• Commercial mindset, with experience engaging clients and responding to proposals or RFPs.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch.
