Senior Project Manager

GlobalLogic is delivering a large-scale automotive software engineering program for a leading global vehicle manufacturer. The project focuses on the development of next-generation, software-defined vehicle platforms, including embedded software, middleware, cloud, and data-driven components.

Teams work in an Agile, feature-driven delivery model, applying modern automotive technologies and industry best practices to build scalable, high-quality solutions that support advanced vehicle functionality and accelerate time to market.

Since the software development teams are in Krakow, we are primarily looking for a Senior Project Manager in this city. Work model: hybrid with business trips to Sweden.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in project or delivery management within software engineering IT services, or consulting environments.
• Strong, hands-on experience delivering feature- and story-point–based, output-driven (outcome based) engagements at scale is a must-have.
• Experience working with global, enterprise-level clients in regulated or complex industries is an advantage.
• Solid technical foundation in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• General understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science project lifecycles, including data pipelines, model development, and deployment concepts.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior technical stakeholders and drive informed delivery decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed, multicultural teams in a global delivery model.
• Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of feature- and story-point–based, output-driven engagements, ensuring alignment with agreed delivery metrics, velocity, and business outcomes.
• Establish and manage delivery governance, agile execution frameworks, and performance reporting across multiple teams.
• Ensure consistent backlog management, sprint execution, and release planning in collaboration with client product and engineering stakeholders.
• Act as the primary delivery interface for senior client stakeholders, including business, product, and technical leadership.
• Build trusted relationships through transparency, predictability, and continuous delivery improvement.
• Manage escalations, delivery trade-offs, and scope alignment within output-based commercial models.
• Support pre-sales and engagement extension activities, including delivery strategy and capacity planning.
• Leverage a strong technical background to effectively collaborate with solution architects, engineering leads, and data teams.
• Provide delivery oversight for initiatives involving AI/ML, data engineering, analytics, and intelligent automation.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet enterprise standards for quality, scalability, security, and performance.
• Own engagement financials, including forecasting, cost control, productivity tracking, and margin management within output-based delivery models.
• Drive efficient resource planning, utilization, and capacity management across distributed teams in the EMEA region and global delivery centers.
• Ensure compliance with GlobalLogic delivery standards, contractual commitments, and security policies.
• Support talent development and succession planning within the delivery organization.
