Ripple Treasury - recently rebranded from GTreasury - is expanding its Payments Engineering capability and hiring a Senior SDET to own quality end-to-end.

This is not a traditional QA role. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor position where you’ll define testing strategy, embed quality into engineering practices, and influence how systems are built from day one.

The Opportunity

You’ll act as the quality authority within a newly formed Payments Engineering team, driving shift-left practices and ensuring automation, resilience and reliability are designed into the platform.

You’ll work closely with engineers and product teams to shape how quality is approached - not just validating features, but influencing architecture and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning and evolving the end-to-end quality and testing strategy
• Embedding shift-left testing practices across engineering
• Designing and improving automation frameworks (UI & API)
• Enhancing CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable releases
• Acting as the senior quality voice within the team (no people management)
• Supporting scalable, microservices-based systems in Azure

Tech Snapshot:

• C# / .NET (essential)
• Microservices & API-heavy architectures
• UI & API automation (Cypress / Playwright; some Selenium exposure)
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Azure cloud environment

This Role Would Suit You If You:

• Are a Senior SDET / Software Engineer in Test / Quality Engineer
• Have strong experience testing and automating C# / .NET systems
• Enjoy technical ownership and influencing engineering decisions
• Care about quality outcomes, reliability and scalability - not just coverage metrics
• Thrive in product-driven, collaborative engineering environments

Experience in payments, fintech, or complex distributed platforms is advantageous, but not essential.
