Location: Melbourne CBD

Rates: $95-100/hour + Super

Your new role

The client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects. They will be reporting into the Senior Manager IT Systems and Infrastructure.

Accountabilities

• Translates business needs into structured delivery objectives as requirements gathering is approved for system implementation.
• Ensures traceability from requirements ranging from, build, test and deployment.
• Manages full lifecycle budgets (CapEx/OpEx) including monthly forecasting of spend monthly burn rate and reporting of any impending overspend.
• Oversee technical solution delivery to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and meets all security, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and lead a fortnightly Governance meeting on all projects being managed.
• Manage transition to operations including a benefits realisation report, lessons learned and project closure.

What you'll need to succeed

• Prince 2 or relevant equivalent project management qualification (i.e. PMP, Agile) and significant demonstrated experience in IT project management.
• Proven success in delivering compliance critical and enterprise HR systems.
• Proven end to end systems delivery (from initiation through to go live).
• Proven experience in successfully managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong project governance, planning and control including knowledge of OH&S, HR, Privacy and regulatory obligations.
• Demonstrated success in change management practices, training and adoption.
• Well-developed stakeholder, vendor and risk management capability
