The Role: Operational Data Analyst

As our Operational Data Analyst you’ll transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions. You’ll play a key role in collecting, analysing, and presenting information across the business — ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape how we use data to deliver performance excellence. Based in Garden Island, Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from a wide range of sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyse trends and key metrics to support informed, evidence-based decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel).
• Present insights in a clear, engaging, and actionable format for diverse audiences.
• Document and maintain business processes to promote clarity, efficiency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Support the creation of data dictionaries, process maps, and reporting guides.
  
  
  

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience with data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting.
• Advanced skills in BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and data integrity.
• Skilled in process documentation, mapping, and optimisation.
• Excellent communicator — able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about continuous improvement.
