Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid/Remote)

An international technology company, headquartered in South America and expanding its presence in Finland, is building a new Machine Learning team in Helsinki. The company focuses on applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems, rapidly prototyping ideas and scaling them into robust, production-ready systems.

We are seeking an early-career Machine Learning Engineer with industry experience, a passion for rapid prototyping, and a strong understanding of scalability best practices. The team brings multidisciplinary expertise across industries and values curiosity, collaboration, and technical excellence. This is an opportunity to grow within a group of like-minded experts shaping how machine learning is practiced across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with teammates and clients in brainstorming sessions, prototyping sprints, and project planning.

• Manage the full lifecycle of machine learning models, including data preparation and analysis, training, deployment, monitoring, and error analysis.

• Design scalable architectures to optimize models for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and incorporate cutting-edge techniques and tools into projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in machine learning or a related field.

• Strong scripting and rapid prototyping skills (Python preferred).

• Familiarity with MLOps principles, including deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.

• Solid software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, containerization).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
