About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team at ekvip automation GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and programming control systems for industrial applications using TwinCAT and CODESYS platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in automation technology, with a focus on developing reliable and efficient control solutions for complex production environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on international projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the advancement of automation technology on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PLC programming, particularly with TwinCAT and CODESYS environments.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project deployment and support.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery and production lines using TwinCAT and CODESYS software.
• Program and optimize PLC logic to ensure seamless operation and integration of automation components.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation systems at client sites worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients to deliver tailored automation solutions.
• Document control system designs, programming procedures, and project reports accurately and comprehensively.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams during and after project implementation.
