Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for Identity and Access Management team
About the role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the reliability and performance of our IAM solutions - helping us deliver secure, seamless, and innovative application experiences. You will be a trusted partner to our lead developers and architects in making the right decisions for new, innovative IAM solutions.
What are you going to do?
- Ensure high quality standards for software deliveries, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
- Identify test scope for Consent and Authorization solutions and other new IAM initiatives
- Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, ensuring test coverage is sufficient and scalable
- Take full ownership of testing and release process, controlling the scope, execution, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
- Execute and analyze API and frontend testing, validating integrations, data flows and user-facing behavior
- Use browser developer tools and network inspection to analyze client-server communication, identify frontend issues and validate API behavior from the UI
- Design, extend and maintain automated tests
- Collaborate closely with lead developers to analyze requirements and validate functionality
- Bring a proactive mindset to business analysis and requirement identification, pointing out potential risks and improvement opportunities
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- 4+ years of experience of Web and API testing
- Deep understanding of QA practices, processes and methodologies including risk-based and exploratory testing
- Experience working in Agile environments, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Bruno
- Familiarity with JSON, XML
- Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of Latvian and English to communicate with clients and colleagues in Latvia and in other countries
- Excellent communication skills and a self-driven, can-do attitude
- A strong sense of ownership, able to work independently while actively contributing to team collaboration
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Visual Studio
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright)
- Understanding of authorization and authentication concepts
- Prior experience working with Consent, Authorization or any other IAM related projects will be seen as a valuable asset
- Ability to read and understand C# (Or Java)
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL
- ISTQB certification (Foundation level)
