💻 ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Simulation & Virtual Test Environment Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the virtual infrastructure that enables high-quality system verification and diagnostic validation.

You will work closely with developers and test engineers, ensuring that simulation environments and RIG setups continuously evolve to support product quality and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain simulation solutions supporting diagnostic tools
• Define, build, and maintain virtual and physical test environments and RIGs
• Collaborate closely with developers and testers to drive continuous improvement of test environments
• Support Test Engineers with the creation of new virtual RIGs and availability of existing ones
• Drive and coordinate the Key User community of Test Engineers maintaining virtual RIGs across different sites
• Ensure high-quality validation environments for electronics and embedded software systems

👤 WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a senior verification-focused engineer with strong software and embedded systems knowledge, ideally from the automotive industry.

Your profile:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• +5 years of experience as Software Developer, System Verification Engineer, or similar role focused on quality assurance and testing
• Fully proficient in .NET and Python
• Strong experience with electronics system testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar
• Good understanding of electronics and embedded software development
• Solid knowledge of communication network protocols (e.g., CAN-based systems)
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous delivery practices
• Experience within the automotive industry
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You are analytical, collaborative, and proactive — with a strong drive to improve systems, environments, and ways of working.
