Payments Solution Architect

We are seeking a Payments Solution Architect to lead the technical design and delivery of complex banking integrations and modern fintech solutions.

This role bridges banking requirements with cross-functional teams, ensuring mission-critical, scalable and secure solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex integrations within banking ecosystems, including API orchestration and core banking, applying enterprise integration patterns for performance and scalability
• Process RFPs, create technical proposals and lead customer workshops to present architectural vision
• Conduct solution architecture reviews and audits of existing infrastructures, producing detailed remediation reports and design documents
• Define granular security architectures such as HSM and key management to ensure strict PCI DSS compliance across all workflows, including AI and crypto layers
• Lead technical adoption of GenAI/ML tools and crypto or digital asset services into traditional banking rails
• Guide development teams through customization and deployment, ensuring code quality and production readiness
• Partner with mobile, web and data practices to ensure seamless end-to-end implementation of payment products

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in development with Java or .NET and 5+ years in solution architecture designing relational or non-relational systems
• Deep experience in API integration, microservices and event-driven architecture
• Strong understanding of designing high-performance, scalable and mission-critical applications
• Expert knowledge of PCI DSS, card schemes and banking standards such as ISO 8583 or ISO 20022
• Practical understanding of implementing AI or ML and crypto or digital asset solutions
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and MLOps best practices to support continuous delivery of intelligent payment solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and on-premise hybrid environments
• Proven leadership in architecture engagement, fluent English and ability to communicate directly with C-level stakeholders
