Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Tokenomics & Incentives Specialist to join our team remotely in Singapore. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong understanding of token economies, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi). As a Tokenomics & Incentives Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing token models and incentive structures that drive adoption, engagement, and long-term growth for blockchain projects and DeFi protocols. You will work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to ensure that the tokenomics align with the overall business strategy and ecosystem goals.

What You Will Do

• Design and optimize tokenomics models for new and existing blockchain projects and DeFi protocols.  

• Develop and implement incentive mechanisms to drive user engagement, adoption, and liquidity for tokens.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that tokenomics are integrated into product development, marketing, and ecosystem growth strategies.  

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure the tokenomics remain competitive and aligned with industry trends.  

• Analyze token performance and assess the effectiveness of incentive structures based on key metrics and KPIs.  

• Provide guidance on token distribution strategies, governance models, and staking mechanisms.  

• Build financial models and conduct simulations to forecast the impact of various tokenomics scenarios.  

• Ensure alignment between tokenomics, user behavior, and the overall vision of the blockchain project or DeFi protocol.  

• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure tokenomics comply with regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in designing tokenomics and incentive structures for blockchain or crypto-related projects.  

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and decentralized finance ecosystems.  

• Experience in developing and optimizing staking mechanisms, liquidity pools, and token distributions.  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex token models and assess their impact on adoption and ecosystem growth.  

• Familiarity with on-chain data, market analysis tools, and modeling techniques to evaluate token performance.  

• Ability to communicate complex tokenomics concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  

• Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory considerations, and best practices in the crypto and blockchain space.  

• A degree in economics, finance, computer science, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience and expertise are key.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: SGD 155,000 - SGD 180,000 annually (based on experience)
