We have an urgent requirement for Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management (RAFM) Specialist- Telecom domain is required for our Telecom clients in Oman

• Strong experience in RAFM experience in telecom is THE Must
• Strong experience in Advanced Reconciliation & Data Analytics Expertise (SQL Mandatory)is the MUST
• Strong experience in UAT, System Implementation & Risk Assessment Experience is MUST
• Strong Telecom domain is MUST
• Strong experience in RAFM tools (e.g., Mobileum or equivalent RAFM platforms the MUST
• Strong experience in prepaid, postpaid, roaming, interconnect, VAS, and wholesale revenue streams is the MUST
  
  

The RAFM Specialist will provide operational support for Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM) functions to ensure revenue integrity, minimize leakage, strengthen internal controls, and support new product launches and system implementations. The role focuses on proactive risk identification, reconciliation accuracy, system stability, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• RAFM Monitoring & Operations
• Daily monitoring of critical RAFM KPIs through RAFM systems to identify potential revenue leakage.
• Fine-tuning reconciliations and validating data sources to ensure RAFM system stability.
• Publishing daily dashboards covering critical reconciliations and audits.
• Performing adhoc/manual reconciliations for areas not covered in the RAFM system.
• Initiating new critical reconciliations (e.g., prepaid balance movement).
• Reconciliations & Controls
• Conduct end-to-end reconciliation reviews across all revenue stream nodes, products, and usage.
• Focus on prepaid reconciliations including:
• Subscription charging validation
• Recharge validation
• Rating validation
• Balance movement validation
• Manual validation of VAS reconciliations and VAS subscription rating.
• Ensure overall daily comfort on VAS traffic.
• Perform checks on Post-paid, Roaming, and Interconnect controls.
• Conduct regular manual audits on Payment Gateway and LMS transactions.
• Ensure mitigating controls for Digital Prepaid, Wholesale, Finance controls, and Post-paid areas not covered by RA systems.
• Audit & Compliance
• Perform regular audits of network systems and platforms to minimize revenue loss.
• Ensure all ICOFR controls are addressed, mitigated, and properly documented.
• Provide required data and documentation for external and internal audits (ICOFR, BDO, KPMG, Internal Audit, etc.).
• Maintain proper audit evidence and documentation repository.
• Change Management & UAT Support
• Assess all new changes via concept rooms from an RAFM risk perspective.
• Identify risks, validations, and required system changes.
• Participate in new product launches and change management initiatives.
• Provide pre- and post-UAT validation support.
• Review SDD documentation for completeness and correctness.
• Advise and assist UAT throughout implementation stages.
• Support RAFM system project implementation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation.
• Liaise with the Mobileum team to understand requirements and provide necessary data/support.
• Ensure clarifications raised by Mobileum are addressed within timelines.
• Follow up internally to ensure implementation timelines are met.
• Knowledge Transfer & Resource Management
• Groom and train internal teams on day-to-day RAFM operations.
• Ensure seamless handover in case of resource replacement without operational impact.
• Provide full onsite handover management without additional cost impact.
  
  

Experience (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management within telecom.
• Strong exposure to prepaid, postpaid, roaming, interconnect, VAS, and wholesale revenue streams.
• Experience in RAFM tools (preferably Mobileum or equivalent RAFM platforms).
• Experience supporting UAT, system implementations, and product launches.
