Team: Client’s internal engineering team + you as lead Android developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development
• Proven experience delivering production-ready Android apps
• Hands-on with Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Android Jetpack libraries
• Familiarity with REST API integration and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• Ability to take full ownership of features and their quality
• Optional: experience with wearables, IoT devices, and startup environments
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Develop a greenfield native Android application from design to production
• Collaborate closely with one existing engineer and client team
• Apply modern Android best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable code
• Implement triggers, backend integration, and AI-first features using AI-assisted tools
• Recreate and maintain all automation and scheduled tasks (triggers)
• Ensure high-quality code, test coverage, and performance
