Scrum Master

Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Scrum Master – Expert to support one of the major Agile transformation programs within the banking sector.

As a Scrum Master, you will:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure consistent adherence to the Scrum framework.
• Support the squad in delivering high-quality increments by removing impediments and promoting self-organization.
• Guide the Product Owner in managing the backlog, ensuring clarity of goals and alignment with business priorities.
• Track team velocity, capacity, and progress, while ensuring the team meets its Definition of Done (DoD).
• Act as a coach and agile ambassador across the organization, promoting Agile mindset and continuous improvement.

Your profile:

• Master's degree or equivalent by experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile project environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools is a plus.
• Sound understanding of software development and project management methodologies.

You have:

• A strong Agile mindset and servant-leader attitude.
• The ability to foster team collaboration, psychological safety, and accountability.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams, preferably in the banking sector.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.

• Proactive, empathetic, and pragmatic approach.
• Comfortable working in hybrid environments (50% remote / 50% on-site in Brussels).
• Open to feedback and passionate about continuous learning.
• Able to encourage best practice sharing, team autonomy, and Agile maturity.
