Project Director

An international digital infrastructure developer is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre developments in Finland.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for full lifecycle project execution from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. The Project Director will oversee design, procurement, construction, commercial performance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data centre projects (€100M+).
• Manage EPC / Design & Build contractors and consultant teams.
• Oversee budget control, cost forecasting, risk management, and change control.
• Act as senior interface with clients, authorities, and utility providers.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish regulations and environmental standards.
• Drive commissioning strategy and operational readiness.
• Build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• 15+ years’ experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience as Project Director or Senior Project Manager on hyperscale data centres or comparable complex builds.
• Strong commercial and contract management expertise.
• Deep understanding of MEP systems and critical environments.
• Experience in the Nordics highly desirable.
• Fluent English required.
