Senior Spring (Java) Developer

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Spring (Java) Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• A minimum of 7 years of development experience with Spring Boot, preferably within the financial services domain;
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment;
• Knowledge of TypeScript and React is appreciated;
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Spring Boot and Java;
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the application stack;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and enhance performance;
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups;
• Provide updates on task status, challenges, and timelines during stand-ups and sprint reviews, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
