Data Analyst

About the role:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Dataiku.
• Develop transformation scripts in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Implement and optimize pipelines in Databricks environments (when applicable).
• Manage ingestion and transformation of HR data from SAP SuccessFactors, referentials, payroll, and other systems.
• Ensure documentation of data lineage and source-to-target mappings.
• Work within the Group Amazon S3 Data Lake architecture.
• Ensure proper structuring, storage standards, and data lifecycle management.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data flow failures.
• Contribute to RBAC implementation and secure data access practices.
• Implement and automate Data Quality Indicators (DQI) defined by HR Data Stewards.
• Perform data profiling and anomaly detection.
• Support remediation processes through technical fixes or structural improvements.
• Ensure compliance with governance policies, privacy standards, and data retention rules.
• Prepare curated datasets for HR analytics use cases (Power BI, VISIER, Dataiku dashboards).
• Ensure consistency between data models and analytical KPIs.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to improve performance and usability of datasets.
• Optimize pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Improve automation and reduce manual interventions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices within the HR Data Office.

Technologies:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or data platform development.
• Understanding of permission methodologies (Role Based Permission mechanisms).
• Strong expertise in Dataiku (workflow design, automation scenarios, data preparation).
• Experience with Databricks (PySpark pipelines, debugging, SQL warehouse analysis).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas / PySpark).
• Experience working with cloud data platforms and data lakes (AWS S3 preferred).
• Good understanding of data modeling principles (OLTP vs OLAP, dimensional modeling, star schema).
• Experience implementing data quality controls and governance mechanisms.
