The Marketplace Web Frontend team is responsible for the front-end development of Shopee’s e-commerce web platforms. We focus on user-facing features (for both buyers and sellers) and internal platforms used by our operators. We design stable and scalable architecture to support Shopee’s fast business growth. Job Description
The Marketplace Web Frontend team is responsible for the front-end development of Shopee’s e-commerce web platforms. Job Description
- Responsible for front-end development of various core business features
- Deliver world-class user experiences to millions of global users
- Write clean and maintainable code, and optimize code to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C++, Java, etc)
- Solid understanding of computer fundamentals
- Demonstrate passion for front-end development
- Good collaborator and team player
- Familiar with web application development and experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other frontend languages
- Familiar with a modern web framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
- Internship or open-source front-end project development experience
- Good understanding of user experience principles
- Candidates may expect up to 3 interview rounds
