Your Role as the DevSecOps Engineer:

• Design and evolve scalable, fault-tolerant distributed components based on core DevSecOps principles across ForInvest’s fintech ecosystem
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Drive engineering best practices to improve delivery quality and reliability with a shift-left security mindset
• Design and build automated deployment systems, including CI/CD pipelines and workflows, using best-in-class tools
• Lead developer productivity initiatives across automation, CI/CD, observability, and release engineering
• Promote GenAI adoption to improve developer productivity; define metrics and build automation rails to measure impact
• Continuously improve DevSecOps tooling and processes; track maturity through relevant metrics
• Champion application, infrastructure, and enterprise security initiatives
• Perform component-level security analysis (code/data flow reviews) and work with Security teams on secure coding, certificate management, and secure configurations
• Support banking audits and regulatory compliance by answering technical inquiries and implementing required controls/actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and other stakeholders
• Ensure stability, high availability, and reliability across production and lower environments
• Design and implement APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to solve CI/testing/deployment challenges
• Execute code deployments and proactive maintenance to keep services healthy and available
• Contribute to enterprise architecture initiatives and the long-term evolution of ForInvest’s fintech platform architecture

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps within enterprise-grade systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and modern DevOps design patterns
• Experience building pipelines with GitLab, Maven, Docker or similar toolchains
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, version control, automated testing, and release processes
• Experience managing production systems in public or private cloud environments
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, clustering models, and networking
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python or similar)
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Graylog or similar
• Familiarity with infra & security tools like Checkmarx (SAST/SCA), Trend Vision One, FortiGate, VMware, Ansible etc.
• Experience responding to regulatory or banking audit requirements
• Strong communication skills — able to translate technical risk into business impact
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial services
• Experience with distributed databases or high-frequency transaction systems
• Exposure to enterprise architecture and integration patterns
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification

📍 This is a hybrid position based in Istanbul and expected to work from the office 2–3 set days per week.
