NOC Engineer

Experience

• 5 years of experience working in NOC environment (Air-gapped environment preferred).

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

• Good hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as ManageEngine, Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
• Ability to quickly categorize the nature of alerts.
• Ability to immediately define priority of alert incidents.
• Working knowledge of high-speed leased lines, DR systems, modems, multiplexers — able to detect issues and report.
• Understanding alerts from various datacentre equipment/appliances.
• Working knowledge of Dell servers (GPU/CPU), routers, switches, firewalls, storage, backups, wireless, UPS, cooling systems.
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of email servers.
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of:
• Windows servers
• Linux servers
• DNS, DHCP
• VLAN
• Routing & Switching
• PAM
• Vulnerability management
• Hardware servers
• Strong fundamentals in recognizing port numbers, IP ranges, subnets, and server/device alarms.
• Ability to troubleshoot without access to the internet.
• Ability to maintain SLA response with zero breach.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate independently with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to identify security breaches and security incidents.
• Strong ITIL process knowledge and experience.
• Build SOPs continuously.
• Experience initiating and supporting MIM meetings.
• Experience in reporting & analytics.
