IT Project Manager - Actimize

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with specialized knowledge in Actimize software solutions to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key IT projects.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Understanding of Actimize's suite of products, such as Actimize Financial Crime Management (FCM), AML ( Anti-Money Laundering ), KYC & Client Lifecycle Management ( Know Your Customer );
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT project management within the banking / financial services industry;
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards, including anti-money laundering ( AML ) and fraud prevention;
• Proven experience in managing large, complex IT projects in a financial institution or similar regulated environment;
• Experience with AML/CFT systems and technologies, including transaction monitoring software, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence platforms;
• Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA and others);
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders;
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AML/CFT;
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations;
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Actimize certifications (e.g., Actimize Financial Crime Management, AML);
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• CAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Actimize-related IT projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and on-scope delivery;
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Actimize solutions, ensuring technical requirements align with business and compliance needs;
• Collaborate with Actimize consultants and vendors to design, customize, and implement Actimize solutions;
• Manage integration efforts between Actimize systems and other banking systems (e.g., core banking systems, data warehouses);
• Oversee the quality assurance and testing phases of Actimize implementations, ensuring all solutions are properly tested for functionality and compliance;
• Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements (e.g., anti-money laundering, fraud detection);
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business stakeholders are engaged;
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews;
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices related to Actimize solutions, risk management, and compliance software.
