Senior Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Backend Developer to join our core engineering team in architecting and scaling our public blockchain infrastructure. This pivotal role is at the heart of our technical mission, tasked with solving the complex challenges of decentralization, high-performance transaction execution, and system-wide security. You will be instrumental in ensuring our blockchain remains a robust, reliable, and high-performance foundation for the next generation of decentralized applications.

This role involves participating in the design, development, and maintenance of the public blockchain system, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of the public blockchain system, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Deeply understand and optimize core blockchain modules such as consensus mechanisms, P2P networking, virtual machines, account models, transaction execution, and state management.
• Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code; lead code reviews and architectural design discussions.
• Stay current with open-source community projects and industry technology trends to drive innovation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers to elevate the overall technical capabilities of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of Java development experience with strong proficiency in Java and JVM internals; familiar with common development frameworks.
• Experience with distributed storage systems is a plus.
• Solid skills in system architecture, issue troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain system development with deep knowledge of blockchain architecture, especially public chains is a bonus.
• Familiarity with mainstream consensus algorithms (e.g., PoW, POS, BFT series) and their implementation is a bonus.
• Solid understanding of P2P networking, distributed systems, and cryptographic fundamentals (e.g., signature algorithms, hash functions) is a bonus.
• Experience in analyzing the source code of mainstream blockchain projects such as Ethereum, Solana or BSC is a bonus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and self-motivation; a passion for continuous technical advancement.
