JAVA Developer

Job Title: FS Java Developer With (AIO Axis)

Contract / C2H / DHR: Contract

Type: Hybrid 3x/week

Location: Charlotte NC, Dallas TX, Iselin NJ

Mission: Design, build, and support backend-heavy Java integrations connecting Client systems with third-party commercial lending platforms. This role will be critical in building the integration layer, enabling vendor API connectivity, and supporting large-scale platform modernization efforts within Asset-Based Lending and Commercial Lending.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and develop backend Java services and APIs to integrate AIO Axis

Build and maintain integration layers connecting vendor SaaS platforms and internal applications

Analyze and consume vendor APIs; translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions

Support Loan IQ initiatives, including fit-gap analysis, loan servicing, and loan accounting workflows

Participate in BAU work including regulatory changes, enhancements, and production support

Coach and mentor team members on AIO platform usage and best practices (for experienced AIO developers)

Must Haves

7+ years of backend-focused Java development experience in enterprise environments

Prior experience with AIO Axis (AIO) — direct hands-on experience integrating or supporting the platform is required

Strong banking domain background, preferably within Commercial Lending or Asset-Based Lending

Strong experience designing and building microservices-based architectures

Hands-on expertise developing RESTful APIs and integration services (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)

Experience with REST/JSON API orchestration, versioning, and integrations

Solid understanding of distributed systems, service-to-service communication, and error handling

Experience with cloud-native or SaaS integrations (building integration layers between vendor platforms and internal systems)

Experience working with relational databases and data integration patterns

Ability to collaborate across onshore and offshore teams in an agile delivery model

Pluses

Loan IQ experience (loan servicing and/or loan accounting)

Experience with nCINO and/or Salesforce-based platforms

SaaS integration experience within commercial lending ecosystems
