Dotnet Developer

Job Title: .NET Developer (.NET 8 | Blazor | Microservices)

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week

Start Date: Mid-February (preferred) or no later than Mid-March

About the Role

Elia is looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join its existing development teams and support ongoing initiatives. The selected candidate will work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with Elia’s technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET 8
• Build interactive front-end components using Blazor WebAssembly
• Design and manage data access layers using Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
• Work with SQL Server and MongoDB databases
• Implement messaging and integration solutions using RabbitMQ
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles
• Ensure high-quality, clean, and maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
• Follow internal development standards and best practices

Technical Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience with .NET 8
• Solid knowledge of EF Core
• Experience with Blazor WebAssembly
• Proficiency in SQL Server
• Experience with MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ
• Practical implementation of TDD

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a Microservices architecture
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
