We're looking for a permanent, full-time Full-Stack Developer to join our Software team to work on real-world, high-impact engineering and sustainability problems.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to work on multiple active projects in a client-facing engineering team.
As a Full-Stack Developer At Arup, You Will
- Design, build, and maintain web applications (both server-side-rendering and SPA)
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver project requirements
- Implement automation scripts and integrations where needed
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
- Work across multiple projects and adapt to new technologies
These Are Essential Skills And Qualifications For The Position
- Production experience with React.JS or Angular
- Strong Node.js backend experience
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with serverless (AWS Lambda or Azure Functions)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for direct interaction with business stakeholders
- Comfortable switching between multiple projects and learning new tools/technologies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, devOps tooling
- Experience writing automation tools/scripts in Python
- Exposure to microservices or distributed systems
- Experience with express+ejs
