An Android Developer in the Finance/Banking domain is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-performance mobile banking and financial applications. The role focuses on delivering seamless digital banking experiences while ensuring compliance with financial security standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Android applications for mobile banking, digital payments, lending, investment, or financial services platforms.
• Build secure authentication features such as biometric login, OTP verification, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Integrate APIs for banking services including payments, fund transfers, account management, transaction history, and loan services.
• Ensure application security using encryption, secure coding practices, and compliance with banking security standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams for smooth delivery.
• Optimize app performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations (payment gateways, KYC verification systems).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain proper technical documentation.
• Support app deployment on Google Play Store and manage updates/releases.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM/MVC architecture.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices in financial applications.
• Experience with payment integration (UPI, cards, wallets) and banking APIs.
• Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Git, JIRA.
• Understanding of financial/banking workflows (KYC, AML, transactions, compliance).
