Job Description
In this role you will:
- Lead as Engineering Manager a group of Automotive Validation/Verification and Firmware engineers;
- Manage schedules, budget, targets, and performance of the Validation and Firmware group;
- Be responsible for and own work products for embedded FW Verification/Validation;
- Be accountable for projects (planning, coordination, reporting);
- Manage staff and assign tasks to the Engineering Team and technical personnel, oversing project logistics and resource allocation;
- Support development and reviews of product-related documentation;
- Define innovative methods for software design and validation to be compliant with ASPICE, functional safety (ISO26262), and cybersecurity (ISO21434) standards;
- Develop strategies and concepts with technical leads to achieve product targets in terms of budget, quality, and time to market, strive to improve efficiency;
- Participate in cross-functional teams to align and synch technical aspects and plan presentation of status to management;
- Closely work together with technical leads;
- Define Concept, architecture, and low-level design together with technical leads for firmware verification/validation;
- Develop/assist peers in debugging validation framework components (embedded firmware, desktop software, FPGA platforms, simulation environments, etc.).
We are seeking a talented professional to join our team, and if you possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you! This exciting opportunity requires someone who can effectively collaborate with others, think critically, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Also, you must have:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, microelectronics, or comparable;
- At least 6 years of experience in embedded SW development, and profound knowledge in validation/verification.
- Experience with embedded C software engineering is a benefit; Advanced knowledge of MCU architecture/operation (interrupts, bootloaders, IPC, etc.) and communication peripherals (CAN, LIN, SPIetc.);
- Experience acting as Test lead or development lead (definition of concepts, planning, tracking, reporting, preparation of process-related documentation);
- Knowledge of validation methods, approaches, and KPIs;
- Fluency in English.
