Cyberr is already live and growing. Now we’re looking for a CTO to own the technology vision, scale the platform, and turn Cyberr into the category-defining product in cybersecurity hiring.
The Role
As CTO, you’ll be the technical co-architect of Cyberr’s future. You’ll own the platform end-to-end: architecture, AI strategy, scalability, security, and engineering culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll code where it matters, make high-impact architectural decisions, and build a lean, world-class engineering team.
You’ll work directly with the founder to align product, technology, and commercial strategy.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Own and evolve Cyberr’s technical vision and architecture
- Lead development of our AI-driven matching, ranking, and automation systems
- Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and reliable (this is cybersecurity—standards are high)
- Build and lead a high-performance engineering team
- Make smart decisions around build vs buy, tooling, and infrastructure
- Translate business goals into technical execution
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, UX, and data quality
- Prepare the platform for rapid growth and enterprise-grade clients
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering, or Senior Tech Lead in a SaaS or platform business
- Strong background in modern web architectures (cloud-native, APIs, scalable systems)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems (matching, ranking, recommendation, NLP, etc.)
- Deep understanding of security best practices (huge plus if you’ve worked in cybersecurity or regulated environments)
- Product-minded: you care about outcomes, not just code
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
- Strong communicator who can balance speed, quality, and technical debt
Nice to Have
- Experience building marketplaces or two-sided platforms
- Background in recruitment tech, HR tech, or vertical SaaS
- Prior startup or scale-up experience
- Exposure to monetisation models (subscriptions, usage-based, fees)
