Must-Have:

  • Engineering graduate with 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address business needs.
  • Hands-on experience in front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, XML).
  • Experience in developing enterprise applications using Angular, C#, .NET Framework.
  • Hands-on experience in Core Java, NodeJS, Angular / React JS and MVVM Model
  • Knowledge of architecture styles, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL/ Mongo DB).
  • Experience in writing APIs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OOP concepts with emphasis on Java specifications, frameworks, and design patterns
  • Exposure to DevOps, GitHub, AWS/Azure.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and SDLC.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand stakeholders’ perspectives and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools.
  • Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube or others.


Platform-Specific Expertise:

  • Mobile (iOS and Android): Expertise in Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Java, Kotlin, , Jetpack Compose and Android SDK. Proficiency in adaptive layout design and optimization for tablets. Experience with tvOS SDK, TVML, TVUIKit, and Android TV development.
  • Frameworks and APIs: Proficiency in UIKit, CoreData, CoreAnimation, Android Jetpack, Room, LiveData, and other relevant frameworks. Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Streaming Protocols: Experience with streaming protocols like HLS and DASH.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Experience with cross-platform frameworks and technologies like Jetpack Compose, Flutter, Unity, etc.


Web and SmartTV:

  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Backend Development: Experience with Node.js, .NET, or Java.
  • Responsive Design: Expertise in responsive and adaptive web design.
  • Platform-Specific Development: Experience with SmartTV platforms like Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, HarmonyOS (Huwaei) and Roku.
  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Streaming Protocols: Experience with streaming protocols like HLS and DASH.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and other cross-platform technologies.


Design Skills:

  • Experience with responsive/adaptive web design, wireframe development, UX/UI design, and tools like Figma.
  • Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA).


Domain Skills:

  • Deep understanding of OTT (Over the Top) media services, video streaming technologies, and DRM.
  • Knowledge of the Media and Entertainment domain.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, teamwork, and project management skills.


Agile Process and Methodology Skills:

  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies, experience with JIRA and Confluence.


Tools and Framework:

  • Mastery of Xcode, Interface Builder, performance profiling tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud technologies, security practices.


Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
  • Understanding of W3C, WHATWG, ECMA International, HTMLPanda standards.
  • Experience with SonarQube, Kiuwan, TwistLocker, Microsoft Defender, Qualys, GitHub, SVN, Gerrit, and GitHub Co-Pilot.
  • Proficiency in Excel and creating macros.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages.


Preferred Skills:

  • Wide range of technical expertise.
  • Solution defining and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in cloud computing.
  • Good understanding of business processes.


Qualification:

BSc in Computer Science or BE degree from a recognized University.
