Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Coordinator to support Vulnerability Management initiatives within an enterprise IT environment. This role partners closely with the Senior IT Project Manager and plays a key role in vulnerability reporting, metrics analysis, and data reconciliation across security platforms.

This is a data-driven coordination role within the Vulnerability Management function — not a hands-on penetration testing or SOC role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support enterprise Vulnerability Management initiatives and remediation tracking
  
• Analyze and correlate data from multiple systems including Qualys and CMDB
  
• Develop and maintain monthly cybersecurity metrics and executive reporting dashboards
  
• Write and execute SQL queries (MySQL preferred) to extract and validate security data
  
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and trend analysis across vulnerability datasets
  
• Create advanced Excel reports (pivot tables, macros, lookups, formulas, dashboards)
  
• Maintain documentation and reporting artifacts in SharePoint
  
• Track remediation status and provide reporting to stakeholders
  
• Assist with governance and audit-related reporting requirements
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT Project Coordination / PMO within enterprise environments
  
• Hands-on experience supporting Vulnerability Management programs
  
• Strong working knowledge of Qualys
  
• Experience working with CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
  
• Proficiency in SQL query writing (MySQL preferred)
  
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, dashboard creation)
  
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and metrics presentations
  
• Experience working within cybersecurity, risk, or infrastructure teams
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Financial Services or highly regulated environments
  
• Familiarity with vulnerability remediation lifecycle
  
• Exposure to security governance or compliance reporting
