About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our client's Devices and Integrated IoT Services group. This role involves developing and maintaining native mobile applications focused on payment processing and security features. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Android development, with hands-on experience working with application servers and RESTful APIs. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative payment solutions, work with a passionate team, and grow within a dynamic fintech environment. The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, with a focus on mobile development, application integration, and secure payment technologies.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining native Android applications that support payment and security functionalities. This includes integrating applications with backend services via RESTful APIs, ensuring secure data handling, and optimizing app performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, IoT specialists, and product managers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements.
Additional responsibilities include participating in the full SDLC, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving application issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, and assist in deploying applications to production environments. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the company's mobile payment offerings and ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android development using Java
- Proficiency in native mobile application development for Android platforms
- Experience working with application servers such as Weblogic, JBoss, or IBM WebSphere
- Strong understanding of RESTful services, APIs, and JSON data interchange formats
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub or other source code repositories
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes
- Experience in payment processing, POS integration, or related financial technologies is a plus
- Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and application server management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
