We are looking for an M&A Associate to operate at the intersection of digital assets, strategic advisory, and institutional capital. This is a high-exposure, client-facing role. You will work directly with Web3 founders, foundations, boards, token projects, and institutional counterparties to originate, structure, and execute strategic transactions - including mergers, acquisitions, token restructurings, joint ventures, treasury deployments, and ecosystem consolidations.

⚡️ Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory

• Advise Web3 founders on strategic alternatives (M&A, token mergers, capital raises).
• Design transactions aligned with ecosystem positioning and long-term token value.

Deal Execution

• Build financial models (valuation, token supply analysis, treasury scenarios, accretion/dilution).
• Prepare investment memos, board materials, and negotiation briefs.
• Lead due diligence processes across legal, financial, tokenomic, and governance dimensions.
• Structure transactions across equity, tokens, hybrids, and cross-border frameworks.

Origination & Market Intelligence

• Identify consolidation themes across Layer 1s, DeFi, infrastructure, DePIN, and token ecosystems.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, exchanges, market makers, etc.
• Develop sector theses and transaction playbooks.

Token & Treasury Strategy

• Advise on token mergers, supply redesign, governance realignment, and incentive resets.
• Model post-transaction treasury sustainability and runway.

Internal Platform Contribution

• Contribute to STORM Partners’ proprietary M&A frameworks and assetization playbooks.
• Support selective internal strategic initiatives and ecosystem mapping.

⚡️ Requirements

• 3–6+ years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, or Web3 transaction advisory.
• Strong financial modelling skills (DCF, precedent transactions, token valuation frameworks).
• Deep understanding of digital assets, token mechanics, governance models, and market structure.
• Experience working across international jurisdictions.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and founder-led environments.
• Advanced English required; additional languages are a plus.
• CFA or equivalent analytical rigour preferred (not mandatory).
