Front End Developer

Our client are seeking a Front End Developer to deliver secure, scalable web applications within a confidential government environment. This is an immediate contract opportunity for a developer who thrives in agile teams and understands secure software delivery.

You will design and build user facing components, contribute to scalable API integrations and ensure alignment with modern engineering standards and lifecycle practices.

What you will be doing:

• Design and develop secure, scalable front end applications
• Build responsive user interfaces using Angular or React
• Develop and integrate APIs using Java and NodeJS
• Ensure solutions align with secure software lifecycle practices
• Work within agile delivery teams across full SDLC
• Apply accessibility standards in front end implementation
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Collaborate closely with cross functional engineering teams
  
  

What you will bring:

• many years front end development experience
• Strong capability across Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML and CSS
• Experience using NodeJS for front and back end integration
• Proven experience in agile environments
• Understanding of secure development, testing and deployment practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline or NV1 clearance
• Australian citizenship is mandatory
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Experience in government environments highly regarded
• ITIL or similar framework exposure advantageous
