Role Overview  

Greenlight Asset Finance Ltd is seeking a Senior DeFi Analyst based in France to support its emerging digital asset research and decentralized finance strategy. This role involves analyzing blockchain protocols, evaluating yield and risk dynamics, modeling performance scenarios, and contributing to structured investment frameworks that inform strategic decision-making in digital markets.

Key Responsibilities  

• Conduct in-depth research on decentralized finance protocols including lending, staking, liquidity provisioning, derivatives, and yield mechanisms.  
• Monitor on-chain metrics, liquidity movements, wallet flows, and market indicators to identify performance drivers and risk signals.  
• Develop performance tracking models, scenario analysis, and attribution frameworks for DeFi strategies.  
• Assess smart contract risk, tokenomics, incentive structures, and protocol sustainability.  
• Produce structured research reports, theses, and insights for leadership and strategic teams.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DeFi insights into broader investment and advisory frameworks.

Ideal Profile  

• Professional experience in digital asset research, decentralized finance, blockchain analysis, or related quantitative roles.  
• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, tokenomics, and DeFi market mechanics.  
• Proficiency with on-chain analytics tools such as Dune, Nansen, Glassnode, or similar platforms.  
• Analytical ability in modeling, performance evaluation, and risk assessment.  
• Clear communication skills for conveying complex insights to multidisciplinary stakeholders.  
• Comfortable operating in a remote, strategy-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications  

• Background in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline.  
• Experience in investment research, hedge funds, fintech, or strategic capital markets roles.  
• Familiarity with European regulatory considerations for digital assets and DeFi.

Compensation & Structure  

• Base Salary: €90,000 - €130,000 annually.  
• Remote work flexibility within France.
