Director Product Analytics | DAX 40 | Data, AI & Customer Products | Cologne/Bonn (Hybrid)

AI Futures Ltd has been exclusively retained to appoint a Director Product Analytics for a leading DAX 40 organisation based in the Cologne / Bonn region.

This is a senior leadership role within an agile, fast-moving environment, responsible for shaping how Data, AI, and Analytics drive the performance and evolution of customer products. The mandate is clear: turn insights into action and lead AI integration across the business.

Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Cologne/Bonn

Remuneration: Up to €250k total package

The Role

• Lead a business unit of approximately 150–200 people, owning the end-to-end Product Analytics capability for customer-facing products
• Leverage behavioural, transactional, and multi-touchpoint customer data to optimise product performance and commercial outcomes
• Define KPI and performance frameworks aligned to growth, retention, monetisation, and product adoption
• Drive large-scale experimentation (A/B and multivariate testing) to continuously enhance digital product performance
• Embed AI & Machine Learning models into live products and operational decision-making, ensuring scalable AI integration
• Champion strong data governance, modern cloud analytics environments and full GDPR compliance

The Candidate

• 5+ years’ experience in Product Analytics, Digital Product Data, or Analytics Leadership within complex organisations
• Deep expertise in leveraging multi-touchpoint customer data to generate measurable business value
• Strong technical background in Data, AI, or Advanced Analytics
• Proven track record of translating insights into tangible product and commercial impact
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into products and core business processes beyond proof-of-concept
• Experience leading and scaling large, multi-disciplinary teams (150–200 FTE) in agile, fast-paced environments
• Language: English (German a Bonus)
