Job Purpose
The HR Generalist will play a vital role in our HR team, supporting a wide range of HR activities. This position is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and are keen to develop their HR expertise in a supportive setting.
The role is based in our Ratoath office with Hybrid working opportunities available.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Manage Employee Relations process including conducting investigations, disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings, in line with the Company Disciplinary policy.
- Collect and maintain data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving
- Ensure adherence to employee legislation, labour laws and company policies, reducing legal risks associated.
- Support and advise Line Managers with performance related concerns.
- Provide support and guidance with Probation reviews and Performance appraisals.
- Support with the development and implementation of Performance Improvement Plans.
- Deliver Management Development Programme Training as and when required
- Support Line Managers with sporadic absences and managing same.
- Collect and maintain data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving
- Manage long-term absences cases including communicating with team members and conducting welfare meetings.
- Organise Occupational Health Assessments as required and act appropriately on actions/recommendations made.
- Liaise with HR Operations Manager to support with Work Related Injuries.
- Support with end-to-end recruitment inclusive of advertising, shortlisting candidates and interviewing.
- Support Line Managers to find, hire, and retain quality candidates.
- Implement, oversee and analyse trends from Employee Exit Interviews and make recommendations for retention
- Ensure compliance to Employment Law, i.e. work permits, organisation of working time act, etc.
- Create, update, and maintain HR Policies that align with business goals and legal requirements.
- Oversee, update and administration of benefits package and discount scheme.
- Manage employee files and maintain compliance with HR policies and relevant authorities.
- Support with employee services through the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist role.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Robust administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in written communication skills such as report writing.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent IT and administration skills.
- Self-starter / Self-motivated.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Full Clean Driver's License.
